Islam & Christianity #1

The ironic of Christianity doesn't follow the Torah, the mother faith of Jesus i.e. Judaism. Paul is the one who significantly changed it and abolished the law.

Some laws in the Torah are no longer considered binding by Paul. Meanwhile Jesus said in Matthew 23:1–3 (NIV):

Then Jesus said to the crowds and to his disciples: “The teachers of the law and the Pharisees sit in Moses’ seat. So you must be careful to do everything they tell you. But do not do what they do, for they do not practice what they preach.”

Paul is the one who abolished the law (in early church). Meanwhile, James (known as the brother of Jesus) upheld the law of Judaism. In Acts 21:18-20 (ESV):

18 On the next day Paul went in with us to James, and all the elders were present.
19 And when he had greeted them, he related one by one the things that God had done among the Gentiles through his ministry.
20 And when they heard it, they glorified God. And they said to him, “You see, brother, how many thousands there are among the Jews of those who have believed. They are all zealous for the law.”
